After the greatest hits album and the live album, the fans wanted new music. In August 16, 2005, Stryper released "Reborn". Rumors say that these songs originally were supposed to be on a Michael Sweet solo album. Not the best album Stryper ever made, but it was a start of a new Stryper era after the long break.
This first album I bought instantly became a collectible. This message was posted on their website:
"'Reborn' instantly becomes a rare collectible STRYPER item: Ooops.... Someone goofed and hit a wrong button causing a slight mistake in the song order during the CD manufacturing process.
"The album artwork states that tracks 7, 8 and 9 are:
07. If I Die 08. Wait For You 09. Rain
"That is how it was supposed to be on the CD, however, someone hit a wrong button when duplicating the CD and the music that ended up on the CD is actually:
07. Wait for You 08. Rain 09. If I Die
"The distributor will be remanufacturing the CD with the songs in the correct order. So, if you go to the store this week, you will be buying this rare 'Reborn' CD. "
This is the plastic that covered the CD.
